Living at the Klosterpark
The new residential quarter “am Klosterpark” with approx. 350 residential units is being built on a total area of 66,435 m². Modern architecture, intelligent floor plans and an overall urban design characterize the quarter. Living space is created for different living ideas, age groups and life situations.
The Bulding areas
The residential quarter is being built in the north of Göttingen in the Weende district. The new residential area is west of the monastery park, south of Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse and north of the Lutteranger shopping area. The construction area covers a total area of 66,435 m². Up to 350 residential units will be built on 72% of the space. 28% of the areas are used as public green and traffic areas.
Single family homes
The row, chain and semi-detached houses are located throughout the inner area in small rows with private gardens. The plots with the seven city villas are in the prime location next to the park and the pond. The living areas of the houses vary between 140 m² and 250 m².
Apartments
In the southern part of the planning area adjacent to the district park, five apartment buildings with 48 condominiums are being built. All ground floor apartments have private gardens, the apartments have balconies with optimal orientation and the penthouses offer large roof terraces with a unique view. The buildings include an underground car park with over 50 parking spaces.
Rental apartments
Four apartment buildings with 55 apartments are being built in the northern planning area adjacent to Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. The ground floor apartments have private gardens and the apartments have spacious covered balconies. The directly surrounding green areas are shared by the residents. Each apartment has an assigned parking space in an adjacent underground car park.
Service apartments
The corner building in the south-western part of the area is reserved for the "Service-Wohnen" project. People of the older generation find a home here. Barrier-free living, shopping service, leisure activities, social common rooms, a range of restaurants and the surrounding medical care centers meet every quality requirement for age-appropriate living.
Traffic routes
The residential area is accessed via five access roads. It has links to the residential areas to the north and east, the public monastery park in the south-east and the Lutteranger industrial park in the south. All district streets are traffic-calmed. A new bus route runs through the residential area and offers a direct bus connection for all residents.
